How DelivGas works

You order once and read out two codes.

The carrying, the queue and the trip back all happen without you.

See the full journey
  1. Order

Choose a merchant, say how much gas you want by weight or by naira amount, and pay in the app.

  2. Hand over

A rider comes to you for the empty cylinder. Read out your pickup code before it leaves.

  3. Refill

The rider takes your cylinder to the merchant, who fills it and releases it with a merchant code.

  4. Get it back

Follow the rider on the map. Give your return code when the full cylinder is at your door.

Why choose DelivGas

Our delivery experience

Three codes. Nobody moves your cylinder on trust.

Your cylinder changes hands three times on every order. Each handover is confirmed in the system before the next one can begin.

  1. At your door

    Pickup code

You read it out. The rider enters it before your empty cylinder leaves with them.

  2. At the merchant

    Merchant code

The merchant gives it once your cylinder is filled. It is checked against the rider’s location, so it only works at the merchant.

  3. Back at your door

    Return code

A different code from the first. The order only completes when you give it, with the full cylinder in front of you.

And if a rider can’t finish the job?

They bring your cylinder back to you. You give the return code when it is in your hands, the order ends there, and you can cancel for a full refund into your wallet or place a new order.

Questions and answers

Before you order.

Where does DelivGas deliver?

We are focused on Festac and Amuwo-Odofin in Lagos. Each merchant delivers within a set distance, so the app checks your address before you order. If you are outside coverage, it tells you and lets you ask to be notified when we reach you.

Do I get my own cylinder back?

Yes. The rider collects your empty cylinder, takes it to the merchant for a refill and brings it back to you. A code confirms each handover, and the order only completes when you give your return code.

How much gas can I buy?

You choose. Enter the weight in kilograms, pick a common size such as 3kg, 6kg or 12.5kg, or enter the naira amount you want to spend and the app works out the rest.

How do I pay?

You pay in the app when you place your order, by card, bank transfer or from your DelivGas wallet. Payments are processed by Paystack.

What will my order cost?

Your total is the gas price listed for your merchant, plus a delivery fee and a service fee. The app shows all three before you pay, so you know the full amount before anything is dispatched.

How long does delivery take?

Most deliveries take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on how busy your nearest merchant is. Once a rider accepts your order, you can follow them on the map.

What if the rider can’t finish the delivery?

If a rider has already collected your cylinder and can’t complete the job, they bring it back to you. You give the return code when it is handed over and the order ends there. You can then cancel for a full refund into your wallet, or place a new order.

How do refunds work?

Refunds go into your DelivGas wallet, usually within minutes. You can spend the balance on your next order or withdraw it to your bank account.

Can my business order through DelivGas?

Yes. Restaurants, hotels and other food businesses can order in the app today, and you can talk to us about regular or larger requirements through the business enquiry form.

Next time the gas finishes, don’t lift it.

Order your refill in the DelivGas app. Pay in the app and follow your cylinder on the map.
